Notes

'Carolina Moonlight' wild indigo (Baptisia 'Carolina Moonlight') is a perennial for borders and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Yellow flowers appear in spring and bring in bees. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. It grows 36 to 48 inches tall and wide, so give it room.

Pairs well with Indian grass, Ironweed, and Black Parrot tulip.
