Notes

Seagrape (Coccoloba uvifera) is a shrub for low maintenance gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and dry, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its round leaves have red veins, and its fruits hang in grape-like clusters. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it, and the flowers make nectar.

Pairs well with Buttonwood, Island marlberry, and Coralbean.
