Notes

'Seattle' dahlia (Dahlia 'Seattle') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. The large bicolor blooms are yellow and white. Its petals are more rounded than those of Grand Prix. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Vermillionaire cuphea, Lemongrass, and Bigleaf hydrangea.
