Serano tulip

Garden uses

Notes

'Serano' tulip (Tulipa 'Serano') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. The red-pink blooms open from early to late spring and also work well in cut arrangements. Plants stand about 12 inches tall, which suits the front of a border. I.V.T. bred it.

Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Paula Fay peony, and Indian grass.
