Notes

'Shanghai' coral bells (Heuchera 'Shanghai') is a perennial for borders, containers, rock gardens, and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. It is evergreen and drought tolerant, so it stays tidy with little care. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit it.

Pairs well with Astilbe, Lenten rose, and Fringed bleeding heart.
