Notes

'Shasta' Japanese snowball (Viburnum plicatum 'Shasta') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It grows fast into a dense shrub that can reach 8 feet tall. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it, and the leaves color up in fall.

Pairs well with Oakleaf hydrangea, Japanese maple, and Columbine.
