Notes

'Shirotae' cherry (Prunus 'Shirotae') is a tree for borders, containers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. White flowers are fragrant and appear in early to late spring, then again in early to late autumn. Bees and birds visit the blooms. It needs little care once settled.

Pairs well with Bridal wreath spiraea, Autumn fern, and Hummingbird's mint.
