Notes

Siberian kale (Brassica napus) is a vegetable for food gardens, naturalized plantings, and annual beds. It is typically grown as an annual. Few crops handle cold as well, and with a little winter protection it grows on through light freezes. This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. It grows slowly to 24 to 48 inches tall and bears yellow blooms in late spring, summer, and early autumn. It is also drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Arugula, Borage, and Blauhilde pole bean.

Scandinavia and Finland.
