Notes

Sierra tiger lily (Lilium parvum) is a perennial for woodland gardens, native gardens, and pond or stream edges. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes part sun or part shade and moist to wet soil. Orange flowers with maroon spots bloom in summer and attract butterflies and hummingbirds. The stems can reach six feet tall. It spreads by rhizomatous bulbs and readily hybridizes with other lilies nearby.

Pairs well with Autumn fern, Aureola Japanese forest grass, and Chocolate lily.
