Notes
'Sissi' tulip (Tulipa 'Sissi') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It bears purple-red blooms from early to late spring on stems about 20 inches tall. Hybris B.V. bred it, so you can cut a few stems for a vase.
Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Monsieur Jules Elie peony, and Switchgrass.
