Notes
'Snowdrift' sweet alyssum (Lobularia maritima 'Snowdrift') is a perennial for borders, containers, rock gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms a dense, fragrant mat that handles dry spells well. Butterflies, bees, and birds visit it, and it blooms in spring, summer, and autumn.
Pairs well with Munstead lavender, Ornamental onion, and Japanese forest grass.
