Notes

'Spellbinder' daylily (Hemerocallis 'Spellbinder') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, loamy, clay, or chalky soil. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the fragrant blooms. Rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It also tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Coneflower, Hidcote lavender, and Russian sage.
