Notes

'Spider's Web' Japanese aralia (Fatsia japonica 'Spider's Web') is a shrub for shade gardens, containers, specimen plantings, and foundation beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to wet soil of most types. The leaves are speckled with white, and young foliage can look almost completely white. Round white flowers open in late fall, and honeybees visit them. You can also grow it indoors as a houseplant.

Pairs well with Lenten rose, Mondo grass, White bigleaf hydrangea, and Cobra lily.
