Notes

Spiral aloe (Aloe polyphylla) is a succulent for borders and containers, and it needs little care. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. Deer rarely make it their first choice. The light green leaves form a spiral that becomes more pronounced as the plant matures. Protect it from winter rain and soil moisture.

Pairs well with American agave, Creosote bush, and Fountain grass.
