Notes

Short-leaf aloe (Aloe brevifolia) is a succulent for borders, containers, and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. It is evergreen and drought tolerant, so it needs little care. Bees and birds visit its flowers. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Desert spoon, Elfin mother of thyme, and Purple sage.
