Notes

'Stairway to Heaven' Jacob's ladder (Polemonium reptans 'Stairway to Heaven') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, containers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Lavender blue flowers open in spring and again in summer, and butterflies and bees visit them.

Pairs well with Woodland phlox, Fringed bleeding heart, Sedge, and Cheerfulness daffodil.
