Notes

'Standishii' English yew (Taxus baccata 'Standishii') is a conical evergreen shrub for specimens, accents, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. It grows 48 to 60 inches tall and only 12 to 24 inches wide, so it fits narrow spaces. Birds visit it, and it keeps its color through winter.

Pairs well with Christmas fern, Coralbells, Winterberry, and Autumn fern.
