Notes

'David' English yew (Taxus baccata 'David') is a shrub for hedges, specimens, privacy screens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. Its narrow, conical shape takes up little room in the bed. It stays evergreen all year and attracts birds.

Pairs well with Globosa Colorado spruce, Sango-kaku Japanese maple, Japanese forest grass, and Christmas fern.
