Notes

'Starflower' celosia (Celosia 'Starflower') is an annual for cut flowers, pollinator gardens, and accents. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. It blooms from early to late summer, and butterflies and bees visit the flowers. It sits low on the menu for deer. You can cut the stems for bouquets.

Pairs well with Mammoth Grey Stripe sunflower, California Giants zinnia, and Black Star gladiolus.
