'Starlight Sensation' daffodil (Narcissus 'Starlight Sensation') is a bulb for borders, containers, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Yellow buds open to pale yellow flowers that age to creamy white. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Each bulb sends up 3 to 5 flowering stems, and the flowers have a fruity fragrance.
Pairs well with Common blue violet, Blue fescue, and Duchesse de Nemours peony.
