Notes
'Statue of Orange' dahlia (Dahlia 'Statue of Orange') is a bulb for mixed borders and cut flower arrangements. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and dry soil. Large, double apricot orange flowers have dark orange centers, and the burgundy leaves add interest before they open. It sits low on the menu for deer. Protect it from winter wet, or lift and store it in a cool, dry, frost free spot.
Pairs well with Purple sage, Vetiver, and Millenium ornamental onion.
