Notes
'StoX Champagne' stock (Matthiola incana 'StoX Champagne') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and containers. It grows well in cool weather and can ride out a light frost. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. Fragrant pink flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and butterflies, bees, and birds visit them. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Erect stems reach 24 to 28 inches tall.
Pairs well with Feverfew, California poppy, and Ornamental onion.
