Notes

'Strictus' eulalia (Miscanthus sinensis 'Strictus') is a grass for borders, specimen planting, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It has an arching habit and reddish-brown blooms, and the leaves turn color in fall. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Birds visit it, and it tolerates drought and salt.

Pairs well with Gaura, Hardy geranium, and Ornamental onion.
