Summerwings Deep Red begonia

Garden uses

Notes

'Summerwings Deep Red' begonia (Begonia 'Summerwings Deep Red') is an annual for borders, containers, and shade gardens. It is typically grown as an annual. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes part sun to full shade and dry to moist soil. It blooms from early to late summer and again in autumn. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with Boston fern, Lilyturf, and Wee Bit Grumpy bigleaf hydrangea.
