'Sunjoy Todo' barberry (Berberis 'Sunjoy Todo') is an evergreen shrub for borders, hedges, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. It blooms in early to late spring, and bees and birds visit the plant.
Pairs well with Little Lime panicle hydrangea, Little bluestem, and Stargazer lily.
