Notes

'Cally Rose' barberry (Berberis 'Cally Rose') is an evergreen shrub for borders, hedges, privacy screens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer tend to browse other plants first. Pink flowers open from early to late spring and into early summer. Bees visit the blooms, and birds visit the plant too.

Pairs well with Sasanqua camellia, Italian cypress, Purple top, and Bellflower.
