Notes
'Sunset' lily (Lilium 'Sunset') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Orange-red blooms open from early to late summer and smell sweet. The flowers draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and birds. Plants reach 24 to 36 inches tall and stay slim, so you can tuck several into a small space.
Pairs well with Baby's breath, Duchesse de Nemours peony, and Little Lime panicle hydrangea.
