'Super Hero' rose (Rosa 'Super Hero') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Its fragrant, medium red flowers open in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. The compact shrub has medium green leaves, and bees visit the blooms. Peter Ping Lim bred it in 2007.
Pairs well with Little Lime panicle hydrangea, Paris coral bells, and Blue grama.
