Notes

'SuperTrouper Red & White' carnation (Dianthus caryophyllus 'SuperTrouper Red & White') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The fragrant flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. It is also drought tolerant.

Pairs well with Ox-eye daisy, Japanese forest grass, and Ornamental onion.
