Notes

'Sutton' foxglove (Digitalis purpurea 'Sutton') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. It blooms in spring and again in summer, and it draws butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. The clumping plant grows 35 to 71 inches tall, so place it toward the back of the bed.

Pairs well with Ornamental onion, Autumn fern, and Gaura.
