'Sydney Pearce' Indian horse chestnut (Aesculus indica 'Sydney Pearce') is a tree for specimen use and shade gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. It grows 40 to 60 feet tall and 30 to 50 feet wide, so give it plenty of room. Pinkish-white flowers tinged with yellow open in early summer.
