Notes
Tanager gazania (Gazania krebsiana) is an annual for borders, containers, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is typically grown as an annual. Frost will kill it, so set it out only after the last frost in spring. This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy or loamy soil. Its orange and red blooms draw butterflies and bees, and the plant tolerates drought and salt. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.
Pairs well with Purple top, Stonecrop, and Society garlic.
