Notes
Tansy (Tanacetum macrophyllum) is a perennial for naturalized areas. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average soil. White flowers with yellow centers appear in early to late summer and attract bees. Plants grow shorter in lean or drier spots. Deer rarely make it their first choice.
Pairs well with Blue fescue, September Charm anemone, and Big bluestem.
Native range
Southwestern Asia and southern Europe.
