Notes

Tansy (Tanacetum vulgare) is an herb for pollinator gardens and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist soil of most types. Bees visit its fragrant yellow flowers, which open in summer and again in autumn. It sits low on the menu for deer. Give it room, since the clumps grow quickly.

Pairs well with Purple top, Moerheim Beauty sneezeweed, and Album culver’s root.
