Notes
'Moerheim Beauty' sneezeweed (Helenium 'Moerheim Beauty') is a perennial for borders, pollinator gardens, and rain gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average to wet soil of most types. The bronze red flowers bloom for a long time on sturdy stems up to about three feet tall. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. Bees and butterflies visit the blooms, and the tall stems are good for cutting.
Pairs well with Culver’s root, Little bluestem, and Joe Pye weed.
