Notes

'The Widow of the South' rose (Rosa 'The Widow of the South') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Deep pink flowers are fragrant and bees visit them. It blooms in late spring, early to late summer, and early autumn. Anne Owen bred it in 2008.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, Blue star, and Inkberry.
