Notes

'Tower Violet' aster (Callistephus chinensis 'Tower Violet') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It handles cool weather and a light frost. This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil of most types. The peony-type blooms open in early to late summer and again in early to late autumn. Butterflies and bees visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Fizzy White cosmos, Supertunia Royal Velvet petunia, and Red fescue.
