'Toyota' tulip (Tulipa 'Toyota') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Dark pink-red blooms open from early to late spring on stems 24 to 36 inches tall. I.V.T. bred it.
Pairs well with Attila tulip, Barcelona tulip, and Jack Frost Siberian bugloss.
