Garden uses

Notes

'Tropical Pink' guava (Psidium guajava 'Tropical Pink') is a fruit plant for the food garden. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun. Fragrant white flowers open in early to late summer. The yellow to greenish fruit has sweet, pink flesh that tastes of strawberries, pears, and passionfruit. It grows quickly and can fruit while young.

Pairs well with Pineapple guava, Italian Honey fig, and Cleopatra canna.
