Notes

Strawberry guava (Psidium cattleyanum) is a fruit plant grown for fresh eating and its fragrant fruit, and it also works as a container specimen. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 9 and warmer, down to about 20°F (-7°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun. The small crimson red fruit taste sweet-tart with a hint of strawberry. White flowers open in early to late summer, and young plants can begin fruiting early.

Pairs well with Pineapple guava, Brown Turkey fig, and Society garlic.
