Notes

Utah agave (Agave utahensis) is a succulent for low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry, sandy or loamy soil. Narrow leaves form rosettes, and tall spikes of yellow flowers rise from the base. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Keep it away from paths because of the spines.

Pairs well with Hummingbird's mint, Autumn moor grass, and Star of persia.
