Notes
'Van der Eerden' tulip (Tulipa 'Van der Eerden') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and average moisture. It bears red-pink blooms from early to late spring. The plants reach about 20 inches tall, so they make good cut flowers for a vase.
Pairs well with Ice Follies daffodil, Dr. Alexander Fleming peony, and Little bluestem.
