Notes
'Variegata' Japanese aralia (Fatsia japonica 'Variegata') is a shrub for specimen planting, accent, shade gardens, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 7, or down to 0°F (-18°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Its large tropical leaves have irregular white margins, and every leaf is different. The variegation lights up dark corners. Bees visit the autumn blooms.
Pairs well with White bigleaf hydrangea, Mondo grass, and Cobra lily.
