Notes

'Variegata' meadowsweet (Filipendula ulmaria 'Variegata') is a perennial for naturalized areas and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and moist to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It forms a clump up to 48 inches tall and 18 to 24 inches wide. The fragrant flowers draw bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with White phlox, Broadleaf cattail, and Ice Follies daffodil.
