Notes

'Velay-Rose' rose (Rosa 'Velay-Rose') is a vine for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Fragrant orange-pink blooms open in late spring, again in summer, and again in early autumn. Bees visit the flowers, and the large leaves are dark green. Paul Croix bred it.

Pairs well with Lamb’s ear, Ornamental onion, and Indian grass.
