Notes

'Virgin' coneflower (Echinacea purpurea 'Virgin') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, pollinator gardens, and cut flower use. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. White flowers with green center cones open from early to late summer and attract butterflies, bees, and birds. Deer tend to pass it by.

Pairs well with Indian Summer rudbeckia, Prairie dropseed, and Nodding onion.
