Notes
'Rainbow's End' hosta (Hosta 'Rainbow's End') is a perennial for borders, containers, and low maintenance beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist soil of most types. Its shiny dark green leaves are striped with gold that fades to light green with time. Every leaf is different. Red scapes carry dark lavender flowers in summer, and bees and hummingbirds visit them.
Pairs well with Bellwort, Goldenseal, and Japanese spirea.
