Notes

'Vision in White' Chinese astilbe (Astilbe chinensis 'Vision in White') is a perennial for borders, containers, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy soil. It blooms from early to late summer and draws butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and wide, so it fills a bed neatly.

Pairs well with Obsidian coral bells, Siebold's hosta, and Smooth hydrangea.
