Notes

'Viva la Vida' lily (Lilium 'Viva la Vida') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. Golden yellow blooms with deep red centers and dark maroon spots open from early to late summer. The flowers are fragrant and draw butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees. It sits low on the menu for deer.

Pairs well with Karl Rosenfield peony, Blue star, and Bells of Ireland.
