Notes

'Viva' rose (Rosa 'Viva') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. The dark red blooms are fragrant and appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. William A. Warriner bred it in 1973.

Pairs well with Creeping thyme, Ornamental onion, and Big bluestem.
